School and College Performance Measures

The Department for Education publishes a range of national performance measures for all schools in England. These measures are designed to help parents and carers understand important information about pupil outcomes, attendance, and the wider context of each school.

As a special school, Wightwick Hall’s curriculum, assessment pathways and outcomes differ from those in mainstream settings. This means that some national measures do not fully reflect the personalised progress our pupils make. However, the information published by the DfE still provides a useful overview of our school population and key data such as attendance, destinations and contextual information.

If you require any help understanding the information or would like to discuss how we measure and celebrate progress for pupils with additional needs, please contact the school office.
