Welcome
Headteacher’s Welcome
It is my privilege to welcome you to Wightwick Hall School, part of the Endeavour Multi Academy Trust. As Headteacher, I am proud to lead a school where every young person is supported to be Ready, Respectful and Resilient and where the wellbeing, progress and personal growth of each learner sits at the centre of everything we do.
Wightwick Hall is a warm, ambitious and inclusive community for students with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities. We recognise the unique strengths and aspirations of every child and we are committed to ensuring that each learner is nurtured to grow, to flourish and to develop the confidence they need for a fulfilling and independent life.
Our curriculum is broad, balanced and highly personalised. It combines academic learning, vocational pathways and life skills, ensuring that every young person is prepared for adulthood and able to achieve their full potential. We offer a rich outdoor education curriculum, residential experiences and a wide range of enrichment activities such as Duke of Edinburgh, Barista training, arts, sports and community projects. These opportunities help our students develop resilience, independence and a strong sense of responsibility.
We are proud to provide a caring and supportive environment where every student feels valued. Our classrooms and learning spaces are well resourced and thoughtfully adapted to provide a first class educational experience. Above all, we prioritise wellbeing. We nurture self worth, celebrate individual achievements and ensure that every child feels safe, supported and ready to learn.
Our ethos of being Ready, Respectful and Resilient is woven into daily life at Wightwick Hall.
Being ready means arriving prepared to learn and embracing new challenges.
Being respectful means showing kindness, care and understanding towards others and towards our school environment.
Being resilient means persevering through difficulties, learning from setbacks and recognising that progress takes time and determination.
Strong partnerships with families and external agencies are central to our work. Together, we ensure that barriers are removed and that every learner receives the holistic, tailored support they need. We also value student voice highly. Through our active student council and individual support planning, pupils play an important role in shaping their school experience and contributing to school development.
Wightwick Hall is a school where children are encouraged to believe in themselves, to develop their strengths and to take confident steps towards a successful future.
Thank you for visiting our website. I warmly invite you to explore our curriculum, provision and wider opportunities and to learn more about how we support every young person to be ready, respectful and resilient so that they can thrive in school and beyond.
